Illegal intrusion into Fan Zhendong's hotel room is not a rice circle problem, it is a suspected crime!

Fan Zhendong called the police, and the hotel room was invaded

Recently, the topic around Chinese table tennis has been relatively concentrated - first Zhang Jike fell into the "collapse" crisis, then Liu Guoliang was re-elected as the chairman of the Chinese Table Tennis Association in rumors, and now Fan Zhendong's hotel room was illegally invaded by strange women many times. The continuous topic, on the one hand, shows that Chinese table tennis is indeed a concentrated place of "net celebrity", on the other hand, it also conveys such a message to people: table tennis, as a national ball, while enjoying the attention of the Chinese people, there are also problems that need to be paid great attention to and taken seriously. So, what should we think about Fan Zhendong's hotel room being invaded many times?

Almost all of the information about Fan's hotel room being hacked so far has come from statements from the Fan Zhendong Fan Association. Through this statement, we can basically sort out the context - a strange woman who Fan Zhendong does not know has followed Fan Zhendong for many days, and when he went out by Fan Zhendong one morning, he got the room card of Fan Zhendong's room from the front desk of the hotel, and then entered the room of Fan Zhendong Hotel many times. Hotel surveillance confirmed this scene, as did the cleaning staff of the hotel rooms. Fan Zhendong chose to call the police, and the public security organ in Beijing's Dongcheng District accepted the case of "Fan Zhendong being illegally invaded into his home".

The police returned the receipt and filed a case as an illegal trespass into the house

Since there has been no police report on this case on April 6, it can be said that it is still unknown who the strange woman is and for what purpose she entered Fan Zhendong's room. However, based on the fact that the woman had followed Fan Zhendong for many days, she had been "locked" by almost everyone as a fan of Fan Zhendong. Fan Zhendong himself also pointed the finger directly at the rice circle through a statement issued by the fan club, calling on fans to "maintain sanity and boundaries, and resist the words and deeds of the rice circle". At this point, the strange woman can be said to have been firmly labeled as a "rice ring".

Speaking of rice circles, in fact, this is not the first time Fan Zhendong has called for a boycott. In September 2021, when Fan Zhendong went from Guangzhou to Xi'an to participate in the National Games, he encountered the "close pressure" of the fans who sent off the plane, for which he publicly stated that he "absolutely did not want to be picked up and chased", and at the same time "begged the fans to allow me to be an ordinary person". At that time, CCTV, Xinhua News Agency and other official media also called for "vigilance against the bad habit of rice circles invading the sports world". The General Administration of Sports of China subsequently issued a similar reminder to the centers and national teams. However, from the actual situation, it seems that the "rice circle" has not only not left the Chinese sports scene, but has shown signs of further infiltration.

Fan Zhendong called for a boycott of rice circles

Regarding rice circles, in fact, we need to explain the nouns. Rice circle, in fact, is the "sinicization" and extension of the English word FANS. As we all know, FAN originally means fan or fanatical enthusiast, FANS is its plural, and everyone is accustomed to saying "fan", which is a transliteration of the word. Later, some people directly said FAN as "rice", indicating that its plural S was said to be "circle", so there was "rice circle". From this explanation of the term, it can be seen that the rice circle itself is not pejorative. It's just that later, with the increasing popularity of the fan phenomenon, more and more people are earning money through this "circle" to eat this bowl of "rice", so the expression of "rice circle" is becoming more and more derogatory. In fact, as far as the information currently knows, people who eat this bowl of "rice" through this "circle" often have several ways to make money: selling idol itinerary information in exchange for "information fees"; Take photos of idols and get a "picture fee"; Change hands with idol signatures or other derivatives and go straight to business... In short, anything that can impress the psychology of ordinary fans and make money, these people will do it. Because of this, the "rice circle" has become more and more contrary to its original intention, and even annoying.

Returning to the woman who invaded the room of Fan Zhendong's hotel, whether she is just a crazy fan, or another "rice circle" person, or even other purposes that are not known to us at present, before the police report comes out, in fact, we do not need to preconceive and "cover the coffin" in advance. However, it is certain that if the woman's bizarre move is only positioned as a rice circle, in fact, the nature of the move is far underestimated. According to the relevant provisions of article 245 of the Penal Code, the woman has been suspected of committing the crime of trespassing into the house. On the report acceptance receipt of the Dongcheng Public Security, it can also be seen that the police filed the case according to the "illegal invasion of the house". For the crime of illegal trespassing into the home, the criminal law punishes it according to a fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years or criminal detention. In other words, the woman's behavior of entering Fan Zhendong's hotel room many times is a suspected criminal act, and it must not be just ignored according to the crazy behavior of fans or rice circles.

Marlon, fans have always been enthusiastic

It should be pointed out that although there is some controversy as to whether a hotel room is a "residence" in the legal sense, many people in the legal profession tend to regard illegal intrusion into a hotel room as an illegal invasion of a residence, and believe that the relevant parties should be held legally responsible accordingly. Of course, from the perspective of judicial practice, because the "sacrosanctity" of hotel rooms seems to be slightly inferior to that of residences, in the end, there is still a certain degree of leniency from illegal invasion of citizens' homes in determining whether a crime is committed and how to determine the sentence. However, regardless of the final defense, there should be no objection that the woman's actions are suspected of constituting a crime.

Combined with the specific situation that Fan Zhendong's hotel room was repeatedly invaded by a strange woman, in addition to the woman needing to pay the corresponding legal price for her actions, the hotel also needed to bear corresponding tort liability for her dereliction of duty. First of all, the hotel failed to protect the basic safety of guests, and negligence and negligence are obvious. Secondly, since the woman invaded Fan Zhendong's room by obtaining the room card through the hotel front desk, the hotel had obvious management loopholes in this regard, which was also a dereliction of duty infringement. Of course, the size of the hotel's responsibility is also directly related to how the woman gets the room card. This point also needs to be further investigated and implemented by the police. By the way, if the woman obtained the room card through the cooperation of the hotel front desk staff, the staff member was even suspected of complicity in the crime.

Sun Yingsha is also the object of chase

After figuring out that the strange woman's behavior may violate the criminal law, I believe that everyone will naturally no longer simply call for "purifying the rice ring". The development of sports in China to the point where more and more fans have appeared, which in itself should be said to be a good thing. Because this means that the relevant athletes or sports teams have become closer and closer to marketization, and in the long run, this is also the scene that China's sports industrialization hopes to see. However, welcoming fans does not in any way mean accepting some of the vices of "rice circles"! Judging from the specific situation in the past few years, a major essential difference between "rice circles" and sports fans and fans is the difference between calm star chasing and blind star chasing. The "rice circle" only considers its own emotions and likes and dislikes, even if the "idol" has "overturned" and "collapsed", it is still "obsessed and unrepentant", and even ignores the basic facts and unconditionally and unprincipled maintenance of its idol. For example, a star athlete who recently "overturned", after being hammered to nothing, there are still a large number of fans on social media to shout: Do you know how hard my brother works? In fact, whether it was or is now, the fans or supporters that Chinese sports need are those who admire a star athlete on the one hand, but also cheer for the sport. The behavior of instinctively "hating" or even attacking other star athletes in the same sport because they love the stars they support has also been quite common in recent years, and this way of expressing emotions is precisely the basic characteristics of "rice circles", which deserves to be highly valued and taken seriously. Because this kind of unprincipled love is not only not beneficial to the development of the sport, but can even make individual star athletes lose themselves, and eventually like many stars in the entertainment industry, step into the ranks of "collapsers".

Based on the possible harm caused by rice circle culture to Chinese sports and related athletes, relevant departments have also been calling for the purification of rice circles. From the perspective of managers, their worries and concerns are completely understandable, but at the same time, for the phenomenon of rice circles in a broad sense, in fact, we should still have some screening and differential treatment - for those "rice circles" or fans who only want to enter this "circle" to eat this bowl of "rice", and even oppose other athletes in the same sport unconditionally and unreasonably in order to support their "love beans", we must resolutely oppose; Secondly, we should still support those "idols" who only like to support themselves, but have no malice towards other athletes, and even help the development of the entire project. In short, we can "splash dirty water", but we must not even spill the children in the basin with us.

Star chasing is okay, but don't be so crowded!

Finally, it should be pointed out that although the "rice circle" culture has appeared in individual sports represented by table tennis and short track speed skating, on the whole, the popularity of Chinese sports or Chinese athletes is still not high, and for the development of sports in China as a whole, we should still find ways to attract the attention and investment of more enthusiasts. In fact, the starting point of many fans is both simple and beautiful, but because they are often very young, they may be "hot-headed" in the process of chasing stars, and their behavior may also be deviated for a while. At this time, what we need is not to beat them to death, but to try to guide them positively, help them better understand the efforts and efforts of supporting athletes, and help them appreciate the inner spirit and beauty of sports more, so as to ensure that they are always on the road of rational star chasing and positive energy moving forward. Chinese sports, finally opened a door, from the position of only from a distance to walk down, should not return to the closed door to the old road of self-appreciation, for the extreme phenomena and special problems that have appeared, as long as we can correctly judge, take seriously and decisively cut, then a lively and harmonious Chinese sports environment, it is still worth looking forward to...
