Today, the Shanghai Film Actors Troupe held the annual "Shengshihua Birthday Rui Ankang, 2021 Chongyang Respect for the Elderly" at the world's only film-themed five-star hotel under the Shanghai Film Group, Crowne Plaza Silver Star. Four generations of filmmakers from the troupe, including Niu Ben, Da Shichang, Liang Boluo, Zhang Yunli, Wu Yunfang, Zhu Manfang, Hong Rong, Zhao Jing, Ma Guanying, Cui Jie, Wang Shihuai, Wu Mian, Zhang Xiaolin, Yu Hui, Shen Min, Tong Ruixin, Sun Qing, and other filmmakers of the old, middle, and young generations, also attended the event, and artist representatives Yu Benzheng, Bao Zhifang, Qiao Hao, He Zhengjun, Yan Xiaopin, etc. also attended the event.

The Upper Film Actors Troupe has never been absent at a major time node. On the occasion of the centenary of the founding of the party, the troupe actors starred and participated in many film and television dramas such as "1921", "Big City Building", "Glory and Dreams", "Wangdao", "Live up to the People", "Deng Xiaoping Trail", "Beautiful Xiangyang Village", "Hello Procurator", "Like Jade", "8090", "Stone Blossom", "Blossoming Flowers" and many other film and television dramas, which won wide acclaim. In particular, in January 2021, the Shanghai Film Actors Troupe won the honor of "Advanced Collective Title of National Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television System", which is the first time that the Shanghai Film Actors Troupe has received a certificate jointly issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the State Administration of Radio and Television, and the State Press and Publication Administration since the establishment of the troupe.
The recognition of actors who have made outstanding contributions to the troupe is also an important part of the activities of respecting the elderly in recent years. In recent years, the troupe has held special retirement ceremonies for Wang Shihuai, Zhang Xiaolin, Zhang Kanger and Yu Hui, recalling their decades of artistic achievements and significant contributions to the troupe.
This year coincided with the official retirement of troupe actor Fu Chong, who graduated in 1996 and starred in her first TV series "Red Cross Square Team" after graduation in 1996, which received widespread attention from all walks of life. In 2001, she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 24th Hundred Flowers Awards for her film "Mao Zedong and Snow". In addition, he has also starred in and participated in many film and television dramas such as "The Country is Heavy", "Eating Men and Women", "Flagship", "Watch", "Good Villain Family" and so on. Fu Chong has long been enthusiastic about charity and cared about supporting the development of the troupe. In 2020, she learned of the seriousness of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in Hubei and did not hesitate to donate a total of 660,000 yuan to the Hubei Provincial Red Cross Foundation three times. She originally wanted to donate in the name of the troupe of the above film actors, but under the repeated persuasion of the head of the troupe, she changed it to donate in her personal name, but repeatedly said that in her heart, it was donated on behalf of all the actors of the troupe, doing her part for the country and compatriots, and repeatedly asked not to do publicity. On this Respect for the Elderly Festival, Fu Chong donated 20,000 yuan to the troupe, and specially customized a sunny umbrella suitable for old comrades and old artists to shield everyone from the wind and rain.
It has also become "traditional" to issue honorary certificates to newly promoted veteran artists who have joined the "post-80s" activities. This year, the troupe's senior actors Zhu Manfang and Li Shouzhen officially entered the ranks of "post-80s" old artists. Tong Ruixin presented honorary certificates to the two of them who had just entered their 80s and brought the troupe's commemorative group emblem. The vice president of the Buddhist Association of China and the abbot of the Jade Buddha Zen Temple in Shanghai, Master Awakening, presented the "Shou" character ink treasure to two post-80s artists. Subsequently, all the artists over the age of 80, Niu Ben, Xiang Mei, Da Shichang, Liang Boluo, Zhang Yunli, Wu Yunfang, Qi Mingyuan, Yan Yongxuan, Zhang Wenrong, etc., came to the stage together to accept flowers and greetings from young actors.
