A total of 10 cars were bought, costing more than one million yuan
Since 2018, Mr. Wan's network company has successively purchased 10 Riches EC35 new energy trucks at Damai United Airlines Automobile Sales and Service Co., Ltd., located in Hongshan District, Wuhan, with a total price of more than 1 million yuan. Since November 2022, 3 of them have successively experienced battery failures, which are manifested in the fact that when they show 50% power or even full charge, the cars often lose power and cannot drive.
"These three cars often have electricity and can't run." Mr. Wan said that because the company's business needs to travel all over the three towns in Wuhan, the inability of vehicles to run normally has caused great obstacles to daily work. But Mr. Wan said that the displayed power and battery life have no reference meaning, and often running and running suddenly lost power.
The battery assemblies of these three vehicles are all within the manufacturer's warranty period of 5 years or 200,000 kilometers, and Mr. Wan contacted Damai United Airlines at the end of last year and was told to contact the after-sales service and manufacturer. Mr. Wan drove one of them to the Ruich New Energy Special Repairer in Jiang'an District, Wuhan City, for maintenance, because the battery was out of stock, and it was still far away from winter to spring.
The staff of the special maintenance supplier of Ruich New Energy said in an interview with Extreme News that the car needs to replace the battery, but the manufacturer cannot supply it due to lack of stock, and as a maintenance party, it can only wait.
Faults are frequent, and the official website shows that the model ranks first in the satisfaction list

Mr. Gong said that he had proposed a buyback plan, but Mr. Wan refused.
Mr. Wan told the polar news reporter that the repurchase price given by the manufacturer was only more than 20,000 yuan, and the purchase unit price at that time was more than 80,000 yuan, and he would definitely not accept this plan. He believes that either the manufacturer should quickly repair it, or add a little money to replace it with a new one.
Coincidentally, in February this year, some netizens complained to Extreme News that Ruich new energy trucks had a similar problem of "running without electricity" during the warranty period, and the same battery was out of stock for several months and could not be repaired. Extreme News reporters found in an Internet search that there are many owners who reflect the same problem, and the problem vehicles often "suddenly lose power during driving", and all encounter "maintenance difficulties" where batteries are out of stock.
The polar news reporter interviewed the official customer service hotline of Ruich New Energy 400 by phone, and the operator said that there were relevant maintenance records of Mr. Wan, which would urge the after-sales to speed up the progress.
