The first clay-court Masters of the year in Monte Carlo announced the main draw wildcard list, with 2014 champion Wawrinka and 2019 champion Fognini listed, the other two going to British rising star Draper and the highest-ranked Monaco Vashero.

Former No. 3 Wawrinka played in Monte Carlo 12 times, defeated Federer in 2014 to win the title, and reached the semifinals in 2009, with an overall record of 21 wins and 11 losses. Fognini won the highest men's singles title of his career in 2019 with consecutive victories over Zverev and Nadal.

This year's Monka Race will be held from April 9 to 16.
