We chose the cable car up the mountain. There is an observation deck here, about 3500 above sea level, and we have to walk about 2.5 kilometers to the colorful pond. There was a sightseeing car, but unfortunately it didn't drive [tears]. At an altitude of 3500, walking 2.5 kilometers is not easy, especially to the last 500 meters of the colorful pool, and you can't breathe after a few steps.
We bought oxygen cylinders at the Yamashita Visitor Center and were prepared anyway. We actually used it.
There are two options after visiting the colorful pond, go back, take the cable car down the mountain, about 2 kilometers, or walk down the mountain, 3 kilometers. We decisively chose to walk down the hill.
The altitude of 3500 goes further back, and it is fatal.
The scenery along the way was beautiful, the children ran so fast that none of us could keep up.
It took us more than 4 hours from going up the mountain to going down the mountain, which was harder than in Jiuzhai.
But it is still different from the water in Jiuzhai, and it is still worth it to see the beautiful scenery.
The online guide is very dissuasive, but I personally experience it and think it's actually fine.
There are probably nine villages in front, so that the yellow dragon is not famous, but I personally think that the yellow dragon is very beautiful, worthy of the reputation of Yaochi in the world.
