A total of 21 clubs in the U21 League have registered to participate this season, including 12 Chinese Super League, 8 Chinese First Division and 1 Chinese Second Division team, and the U18 National Youth League will also participate. Shanghai Harbor, Shanghai Shenhua, Guangzhou City and Jinmen Tigers did not register. According to the regulations, each team in the U21 League can register 18-30 players per stage, and after the end of the first stage, each team can change and re-report players with no more than 10 players. The registered players are mainly domestic players under the age of 21, and no more than 8 overage players can be reported, and no more than 5 young players can be reported.
Judging from the list of applicants for each team, it is basically dominated by players in the 2000-2002 age group. In Beijing Guoan, Hou Yongyong, Gao Tianyi, Bai Yang, Liu Guobo and other first-team members participated as overage players, and He Zhenyu was selected as a player of the right age. In the U18 national football team, He Xiaoke led the way, and Xiang Rongjun and Wen Yongjun were listed.
