On April 1, International Bird Love Day, Xinmin City will hold the first bird watching festival in the beautiful Xixihu Wetland Park. Xixi Lake Wetland Park is located in Hutai Town, Xinmin City, covering an area of 4.33 million square meters, of which the lake area is 2.67 million square meters. Xixihu Wetland Park has a very beautiful ecological environment, and is located on the main channel of migratory birds to migrate north and south, providing a good habitat and breeding environment for birds, and every year it will attract a batch of rare birds such as Oriental white storks, gray storks, ruddy ducks, mallards and other rare birds to migrate here.
This year's Bird Watching Festival lasted for 30 days, and the organizers planned birding competitions, photography competitions, fishing competitions, photography science exhibitions, poetry and painting exhibitions, special intangible cultural heritage exhibitions and other activities, highlighting the theme of caring for birds and other wild animals, cherishing and protecting the ecological environment.
Marked by the Xixi Lake Bird Watching Festival, the Xinmin City Spring Tourism Festival was also officially launched.
