Jordan Jr.: I've had basically the same role in every team I've been with

Lakers new signing center DeAndre Jordan talked about his role in the Lakers in an interview.

"I think any team role I've had is basically the same, which is to defend, to influence the opponent's shots, to do a good job of guarding the frame, to compete for rebounds, to try to create vacancies for teammates, to fight for the ball, to provide huge energy at both ends of the attack and defense, to do a good job in the locker room. That's basically what I do with every team and I look forward to putting in the effort with everyone here. This team now has multiple air receiver threats, especially since we have great organisers, very selfless players, which would be great. ”

"Having someone waiting under the basket for a dunk, having an organizer and a shooter, that gives the team a better chance to stretch out. So I think sometimes we play big lineups, sometimes we play small lineups. I felt it depended on what was needed in the game at the time and I felt like we could have made good adjustments because we were so well-rounded. ”
