Black Cloud Crush! At 12:12 p.m. on March 11, Mount Merapi near Yogyakarta, Central Java, Indonesia, suddenly erupted a heat cloud, and black volcanic deposits rushed 3,000 meters into the air. The volcanic activity experienced six eruptions and did not stop until 5 p.m.

Indonesian geologists say the volcanic activity is not a volcanic eruption. The hot cloud ejected this time was caused by heavy precipitation. As soon as the lava dome of the volcano can recover the eruption point (Merapi does not have a crater), the activity will end. Therefore, surrounding residents do not need to evacuate, but should stay at home, close doors and windows, and prevent inhalation of harmful gases.
