<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" data-track="1" > former Boston Celtics point guard Rajan Rondo is back on the team. </h1>
Rondo, Patrick Beverley and Daniel O'Tulu have traded from the Los Angeles Clippers to the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Eric Bledsoe.
The Grizzlies will be Rondo's ninth NBA team and his eighth in multiple seasons. A four-time All-Star and 2008 champion for the Celtics, Rondo was transported to the Dallas Mavericks midway through the 2014–15 season and has since spent two full seasons in one place.
Since spending half a season in Dallas, Rondo has played for the Sacramento Kings, Chicago Bulls, New Orleans Pelicans, Los Angeles Lakers — he won another championship after 2020 — and parted ways between the Atlanta Hawks and Clippers last season.
Most NBA teams have a record of 12 games with four players; Ish Smith and Anthony Tolliver are active leaders with 11 teams each.
Rondo, 35, averaged a career-low 5.4 points per game last season in the Hawks and Clippers and plans to become an unrestricted free agent next summer.
