People's Daily Tianjin, October 14 -- From October 22 to 23, the drama "Four Generations Together", produced by the National Drama Theatre of China and joined by Liu Jinshan, Xing Jiadong and other actors, will be staged in the Opera Hall of the Tianjin Grand Theatre.

"Four Generations Together" is Mr. Lao She's most important novel, through the display of the different fates of the "Little Sheepfold" Hutong people in Beijing's Xicheng, especially the Qi family, the Guanjia family, and the Qian family, reflecting the worldly situation in the Occupied Area of Peiping during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and showing the living conditions of the "people of Beijing like a leaf floating on the wild water" after the Lugou Bridge Incident, just like a three-dimensional living picture of Beijing Hutong culture.
In 2010, with respect and affection, the National Theatre of China independently wrote and directed the screenplay and director, and Shu Yi, the son of Mr. Lao She, joined the academic advisory team and adapted this immortal masterpiece in the treasure house of modern Chinese literature into a three-act drama, which was put on the stage and successful. "Four Generations Together" has won many awards such as the 2011 National Academy of Arts Troupe Excellent Repertoire Exhibition Outstanding Repertoire Award, the 2012 Drama Golden Lion Award, the 14th Wenhua Award "Wenhua Excellent Repertoire Award" and many other awards, becoming one of the star dramas of the National Drama Theatre of China and known as the "First Drama in Beijing".
At this Tianjin station, the outstanding actors of the National Theatre of China, including Liu Jinshan and Xing Jiadong, will join in. Among them, Liu Jinshan will play the storyteller, as the main backbone of the whole play, and the role of the storyteller plays the role of "threading the needle" in the play. And Xing Jiadong will play Xiao Cui who pulls yangche, for this character, Xing Jiadong believes, "After ten years of acting in "Four Worlds Together", and also reading "Four Worlds Together" for ten years, ten years ago I was still a young actor, ten years later I was already a middle-aged actor, in this role, in this play, I grew a lot. He said that every time he performed the story in the small sheepfold alley on the stage, it was as if he had returned to an era that he had not experienced, and the other actors on the stage were like family, which was a very unique experience.
