Guess How Much I Love You is written by Sam McBrayney. The book is a classic parent-child picture book, only 16 open 32 pages, creating an atmosphere full of love for readers.
The protagonists of the picture book are a little rabbit that looks like a child and a big rabbit that looks like a parent. Before going to bed, the little rabbit grabbed the big rabbit's ears, and he asked the big rabbit to listen to him well: "Guess how much I love you? The big rabbit said, "Oh, I can't guess that. ”

In just 32 pages, this work depicts the warm scene of rabbits getting along, and the illustrations are beautiful and moving, and there are turbulent emotions inside. In my opinion, there are two subtleties about it:
First, the love of the father.
In traditional literature, maternal love is often praised, and there are relatively few descriptions of fatherly love. Even the remaining works that praise father's love mostly compare fatherly love to a mountain and emphasize its depth. But in this picture book, the big rabbit's fatherly love is also like a trickle that nourishes the heart of the little rabbit and every reader, and the father's love does not have to be silent, it can also be shown directly.
Second, proximity and love.
The little rabbit loves comparison like a child, he is always imaginative, using everything he can think of to tell his love for the big rabbit. And the big rabbit is like a gentle parent, accompanying the child and letting him play happily. Big Rabbit uses experience and wisdom to win the competition and Little Bunny's slightly less love, but Little Bunny uses his innocence and imagination to win Big Rabbit's love twice as much. In this "Guess How Much I Love You" contest, both rabbits won.
Life is not a script, family affection is not a competition, there is no need to divide the winner and the loser. Expressing it simply and clearly is better than hesitating and hesitating.
As a child, we were not knowledgeable about the world and were willing to express our emotions directly. Or coquettishly looking for a hug, or hugging your mother's thighs, shaking your body while looking up and shouting "mother" and "mother". Everything seemed so easy.
