North Korea: A mysterious tour guide

author:Wanxi's home

Some netizens privately wrote me and asked: Is the North Korean tour guide beautiful, and so on. This episode is dedicated to North Korean tour guides.

After getting off the train, two tour guides from North Korea's Wanjing International Travel Agency came to pick up the station. Our group of 10 followed them into a Toyota Coaster minibus.

There is no independent travel to North Korea, so you can only follow the group. For each tour group entering the DPRK, the DPRK side will assign two tour guides. A positive guide, tube itinerary and explanation; A secondary guide, tube safety.

Our positive guide name is Cui Shuxiang, in his thirties, gentle and cheerful, and speaks Chinese very well. Listening to her, she has studied in China and has been to many places in China. If you let her mix in Chinese, you can't tell from her facial expressions that she is North Korean.

North Korea: A mysterious tour guide

On the right is Director Cui

The deputy director's name is Park so-sung, a handsome North Korean guy who laughs very shyly. Director Cui introduced that the young man is a high-achieving student of Kim Il Sung University, majoring in French, and can Chinese a few simple words. The group members said that he was sent by the state security department to monitor the words and deeds of the tour guide and members of the group, and that he was a "secret agent". This special identity makes us feel that there is always a mysterious color in him.

Whenever he arrives at an attraction, Director Cui is always at the front of the team, busy answering, busy explaining, busy arranging meals, busy chatting with group members... And the assistant guide young man, unhurriedly follows the end of the team, it is very difficult for you to get rid of him and deliberately "get lost". His eyes were like torches, like radar, scanning the crowd all the time, breaking his heart for the "safety" of his teammates. The group members wanted to take a picture with him, and he also resisted, either dodging or waving his hand to refuse. I rummaged through the album and found only one photo of his back, and the other with only half of his face exposed.

The mysterious Park so-sung

The deputy director only showed half of his face

That time in Kim Il Sung Square at night, I wanted to take a close-up photo of the Juche Thought Tower, and just wanted to "cross the line" across the road, and when I turned around, Deputy Director Park was standing behind me, he still had a shy smile on his face, but there was clearly non-negotiable meaning in that expression. I can only return to the team.

On the day I went to Panmunjom to visit, there was a young man named Xiaoming in the group, who couldn't go with diarrhea, so he decided to take some medicine and rest at the hotel. For this trivial matter, Director Cui solemnly made several phone calls and asked his superiors. The superior instructed Deputy Director Park to "take care" of Xiaoming at the hotel. Xiao Ming later said that the deputy director took another staff member and guarded the entrance and exit of the hotel lobby for a whole day, afraid that he would "get lost"!

In North Korea, the tour guides who can do foreign-related business are all people with good origins, high education, and a good background, and they are a group of very mysterious people!
