In 2021, the second phase of the Peiyuan Youth Drama Talent Training and Repertoire Incubation Platform has been in operation for nearly 7 months and has recently entered the final stage of re-evaluation. There are 44 reserve incubation scripts, 6 officially confirmed incubation, and another 38 scripts are being demonstrated, and Peiyuan Platform will continue to find suitable production institutions for them to explore the possibility of incubation of these scripts.
On July 18, the incubation activities of Peiyuan Phase II were officially launched. The incubated script "William and I" won the praise of many industry experts and production institutions in the preliminary review process, stood out from the 355 scripts collected, and was also the first batch of works in Peiyuan's second phase of works to be performed. On the same day, the drama "William and I" was rehearsed in the Wangjing Rehearsal Hall in Beijing, and the Peiyuan platform invited a number of industry experts to watch and discuss, and everyone gave full affirmation and praise to the rehearsal, and gave sincere opinions and suggestions from different angles.

"William and Me" is an original play about the biography of William Shakespeare, the story is substituted by the workers in the theater, telling the story of William Jr. when he was five years old, he mistakenly entered the stage of Stratford City Hall and became acquainted with the theater; when he was alone in London in his youth, the son of a leather merchant began to write his own extraordinary legend, and then he was frustrated in his later years and returned to his hometown in Stratford until his death... There are more than 30 characters in the whole play, all played by four actors.
In addition to acting as the narrator of the entire story and playing all the roles, the four actors each have to tell and play William Shakespeare of an age period: childhood, youth, middle age, and old age. The whole drama flexibly uses time and space, switches the identity between the narrative and the specific characters at any time, completes the overall narrative and presentation, breaks the conventional stereotyped narrative presentation mode in the narrative form and acting style, and flexibly, exquisitely and meticulously tells a simple legend close to each of us.
"William and I" will be performed on July 22, 23 and 24 at the Damai Chao Theater, and the performance has applied for the Beijing Huimin Low Ticket Subsidy, and the performance tickets of 100 yuan and below account for more than 30% of the available tickets.
It is reported that the Peiyuan 2021 script promotion meeting and the second phase of the operation publicity meeting will be held in the Peiyuan incubation base -5house on July 22, and more than 40 production institutions will dock with the script writers of the first and second phases of Peiyuan. As a result, Peiyuan Phase II will begin a six-month incubation work.
