On March 1, major companies released February sales reports, from the current release of corporate sales data, BYD is still the highest sales brand, the new forces of NIO, ideal have improved, while Xpeng has a slight decline, only navy and Lantu decreased month-on-month.
From the many sales data obtained so far, most of the new energy companies have improved compared with January, and the car market has shown signs of gradual recovery.
BYD sold 193655 new energy vehicles in February, up 119.4% year-on-year from 88,283 units a year earlier. The cumulative sales volume of new energy vehicles this year was 344,996 units, a year-on-year increase of 90.13%.
In the same period, the total installed capacity of new energy vehicle power batteries and energy storage batteries was about 8.952GWh, and the cumulative installed capacity in 2023 was about 17.100GWh.
Aion sold 30,086 new vehicles in February, up 253% y/y and 195% m/m. Cumulative sales from January to February were 40,292 units, a year-on-year increase of 64%.
On January 11 this year, GAC AION issued an announcement that due to the termination of subsidies for new energy vehicles, AION expects to raise the official guidance price of its related models in early March this year, ranging from 3,000 to 6,000 yuan.

On February 21, NIO announced its 2023 substation construction target, which will be increased from 400 to 1,000, and more than 2,300 substations will be built in 2023.

In the same period last year, the revenue was 9.9 billion yuan, and the market expected 17.1 billion yuan. It is expected that the revenue in the first quarter will be 10.93 billion yuan to 11.54 billion yuan.
The Q1 2023 delivery guidance is 31,000 to 33,000 units, and deliveries are expected to reach 12,000 units in March.
