In what Blizzard calls "the first in a series of developer insight videos," this video showcases "the rich worlds you'll soon traverse and reclaim from Lilith's grasp."

This behind-the-scenes (BTS) video features insights from Senior Mission Designer II Harrison Pink, Game Director Joe Shely, Senior Dungeon Designer Dini McMurry, and Art Director John Mueller as they "articulate Diablo 4's [art direction, environments, monsters, gameplay innovations]."

"The art style of Diablo 4 is dark and scary, reminiscent of the horror atmosphere of Diablo 2 in many ways," Blizzard joked. "There are five unique areas in the game, each with its own grim environment and themed dungeons. One of the artistic goals was to make each scene look like a painting, so every color and texture was carefully crafted to achieve the ideal cold design. ”

In addition, Diablo 4's public beta and Early Access will take place over two weekends, starting in Early Access from March 17 to March 19. This session is only available to players who pre-order Diablo 4, while the Open Beta from March 24-26 will be open to everyone.

The full-priced game, which will be available June 6 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC, has been confirmed to include paid cosmetic stores and elements of the online service including regular season passes.
