Wang Anshi (王安石), also known as Zijiefu, was a famous politician, reformer, thinker and literary scholar during the Northern Song Dynasty. The "Records of Shaw's Hearings" records that Wang Jinggong resigned from the phase, only riding a donkey. Or persuade him to make people shoulder the public and be fair: "Although the princes of ancient times have not been righteous, they have not dared to replace animals with people." Wang Anshi rides a donkey instead of sitting in a sedan car, he is a noble man and a pariah animal in his heart, he values the people, and does not want to treat people as livestock. It should be said that this is in line with his early demeanor: when he was a local official in his early years, he worked hard in many places, loved the people, and promoted advantages and eliminated disadvantages. Even the "Young Seedlings Law", which caused disturbing consequences in the later reform of the law, was intended to consider the interests of the people, and behind the positive results of the initial implementation of the local donkey riding was the continuation of Wang Anshi's simple habits. Compared to horses, donkeys are both small and not very young, and the price of donkeys is much lower than horses, and riding a donkey is a simple thing. "Qu Xun Old News" records that Wang Anshi is simple in nature, does not groom, deserves, has dirty clothes, eats roughly, and has no choice, since he was young. According to the "Records of Shaw's Hearings", Wang Anshi in his early years still studied hard all night after joining the army, and often went to Yamen unkemptly in the morning, so that he was misunderstood by the commander Han Qi. In life, Wang Anshi does not have a special favorite dish.
"Quxun Old News" records that one day, someone told Wang Anshi's wife that he knew what dishes Wang Anshi loved to eat, and what he loved to eat was roe breast. Madame was very strange and asked him how he knew that Wang Anshi loved to eat roe breast. He said that because he found that Wang Anshi did not eat other dishes on the table, he ate all the dried lieutenants alone. Madame asked where the roe was placed, and he said that it was placed near the cutlery. Madame said, tomorrow you put the lieutenant elsewhere, near Wang Anshi and put another dish. It turned out that the nearest dish was eaten by Wang Anshi, and the roe dried elsewhere was not eaten at all. It turned out that Wang Anshi only ate the dish closest to him at each meal. At the same time, Su Xun described Wang Anshi as follows, saying that he was "clothed by his courtiers and eaten by dogs", and "the prisoner was mourned and talked about face to face", which shows Wang Anshi's poor clothing and food. We know that the treatment of civil officials in the Song Dynasty was relatively generous, and Wang Anshi, as a high-ranking official, could not afford to eat or wear, and his simplicity of "not being close to people" was even regarded by Su Xun as an example of great adultery. Therefore, Wang Anshi, who loved to ride a donkey in his later years, is just a simple expression of his "walking" behind his love for riding a donkey, perhaps because Wang Anshi has a donkey-like stubborn temper. His political rival, Sima Guang, said that Jiefu had no him, but he was stubborn. Wang Anshi has the nickname of "Awkward Gong", he is stubborn and stubborn to the extreme, and has something in common with donkeys. What he doesn't want to do or doesn't want to do, no one can force it. There is a story in the "Records of Shaw's Hearsay": When Wang Anshi was serving as a judge of the Qunshepherd, his boss Bao Zheng once invited him and Sima Guang to a banquet. Bao Zheng persuaded him to drink many times, and Sima Guang, who originally did not like to drink, barely drank a few glasses, and no matter how Bao Zheng persuaded him to drink, Wang Anshi always drank wine and did not succumb to his superiors at all. Generally speaking, the scholar wanted to fulfill his ambitions in the capital, but Wang Anshi did the opposite, repeatedly refusing to serve in the capital, insisting on serving in the local area, so that some people thought that Wang Anshi had no intention of pursuing a career. Later, when he presided over the reform of the law encountered many obstacles and suffered all kinds of criticism, he was still unmoved, saying that reform should be "not enough to be feared by natural changes, insufficient laws by ancestors, and insufficient words to be scrupulous", and always insisted that his strange behavior of believing that he was different was only external, and his inner persistence and persistence were his essence. As Su Shi said, "There will be extraordinary events, and there will be a different person in the world", Wang Anshi is such a different person, and it is such a different person who can decorate all things, move all directions, and make a magnificent achievement!
