Secondly, regarding the controversial laser incident, China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs made it clear that the Chinese coast guard ships use hand-held laser speedometers and hand-held green light indicators, which do not cause damage to personnel or equipment, and their purpose is to measure speed and distance of ships. Therefore, the news that the Philippine coast guard has been temporarily blind can also be identified as groundless.
It is ironic to say that the Philippines has been a colony of the United States for half a century, and the contradiction with the Chinese mainland has been around for a long time, and this contradictory psychological mistake makes the Philippines think that it can control the mainland with the momentum of the United States, but after the South China Sea arbitration, the Philippines realized that the United States may not be able to intervene strongly in the dispute between China and the Philippines, so it turned to currying favor at both ends, and turned to the Chinese mainland for hindering development, and the two countries have been friendly since the Duterte period. Now that strife is raging, it is obvious that the United States is obstructing it. The United States judged that Chinese mainland probability of solving the Taiwan Strait issue in the next few years, so it expanded its military base in the Philippines. In peacetime, China and the Philippines will cooperate and the Philippines will not act excessively, and after the United States expands its military base in the Philippines, the Philippines judges that it can balance China with this.
Therefore, the key point is actually to look at the result of the Sino-US game. Chinese mainland should be aimed at the United States, which solves the problem from the source, and such small fish and shrimp dare not jump. Of course, appropriate disciplinary measures are still necessary, as is the case with South Korea. The basic market still cannot move, that is, Southeast Asia remains stable, which is the basis for Chinese mainland foreign trade and maintaining stability in the surrounding areas. Naturally, this reciprocal measure can only target certain cooperation between the Philippines and Chinese mainland, and only by understanding that the PLA will not be soft can we cut off the behavior of certain countries that undermine regional security.
