"Crazy" ended, several urban dramas in the same period were thunderous and rainy, and there seemed to be no TV series to watch. In fact, otherwise, there are two TV series that have been completed successively, but the quality and reputation are good are not too popular, one is "Meritorious Service: Old Things in the Northeast" starring Fan Wei, and the other is "Daming under the microscope".
In the same period, there are also two idol dramas with good quality and reputation, one is Chen Xingxu, Li Randi's "Starfall Condenses into Sugar", and the other is "Summer Flower" starring Yan Chengxu and Xu Ruohan. Especially the latter, according to my observations, Taiwanese actor Yan Chengxu, because this drama has become a little popular.
To be honest, Bo Guangjun is not the audience of idol dramas, so this drama can't analyze a reason.
But with the popularity of Yan Chengxu, plus last year's Wang Xinling, and then Jay Chou, and the upcoming "Sound into the Heart. Baodao Season", I believe Taiwanese stars are going to become popular again. But I don't know if everyone found out, now Taiwanese stars in addition to variety entertainment to become popular, Yan Chengxu such as relying on film and television dramas to become popular are not many Taiwanese actors.
For example, Wu Qilong, Su Youpeng, Huo Jianhua, including Zhao Youting, Ruan Jingtian, Peng Yuyan, Zhang Zhen, and then the younger generation of Wang Continent, Xu Guanghan and so on seem to have disappeared. There have been discussions on the Internet about a certain Taiwanese actor "overwhelmed" and "cold", why it is not popular. In recent years, the resources of Hong Kong and Taiwan film and television dramas have become worse and worse, why?
Hong Kong actors watch movies, Taiwanese actors watch TV series? Why are Hong Kong and Taiwan actors getting worse and worse
Although the domestic network is full of Hong Kong and Taiwan actors, in fact, there is still a big difference between the two in the fields they are good at. Hong Kong actors are mainly in film actors, and even in the peak era of 8090, Taiwanese films are better at literary and artistic films like mainland films, and cannot cultivate a large number of movie stars.
Taiwan is better at TV dramas, early bitter dramas, later Qiong Yao and martial arts dramas, and idol dramas after "Meteor Garden" in 2001 even held a large number of idol drama stars, and this trend continued after entering the mainland market. Hong Kong actors are getting worse and worse because there are no young people, so why are Taiwanese actors getting less and less good?
The first is external reasons, the age, accent, acting skills and image of Taiwanese actors have seriously lagged behind, and gradually no longer match the current mainland market TV drama resources, and gradually they have been eliminated.
I guess if someone wants to scold mainland traffic stars, there is a key point here. We can look at Yan Chengxu of "Summer Flower" this time, and his biggest praise in this drama is that the 46-year-old looks are still very handsome, his body is well maintained, and he is very temperamental.
This is indeed the strength of Taiwanese actors, but it is also their biggest weakness. Yan Chengxu debuted in "Meteor Garden" in 2001, and is still acting in idol dramas 22 years ago. Taiwanese actors of their generation are basically idol drama actors, and others include Zhou Yumin, Zhu Xiaotian, Chen Bolin, Zheng Yuanchang, Ming Dao, Lin Zhiying, Wu Zun and so on.
(In addition, Peng Yuyan, Ruan Jingtian, Zhao Youting, Huo Jianhua, Wu Qilong and Su Youpeng are somewhat different, which will be discussed below)
The resources of mainland film and television dramas can be roughly divided into two types, one is more suitable for their age, that is, the resources of Mesozoic actors, and the other is a variety of idol drama resources.
The former is basically the revolutionary drama of "The Age of Awakening", the period drama of "Mountains and Seas", "Great Rivers" and "The World", and then the main theme dramas such as "Crazy", as well as urban dramas such as "Even with the Wind", and now includes the sci-fi drama of the rise of "The Three-Body Problem".
Revolutionary dramas, period dramas, including anti-corruption dramas, anti-gang dramas, police and bandit dramas, etc., this Taiwanese actor cannot act unless they meet their identity as Hong Kongers, Taiwanese, or returnees from overseas.
The reason is that this group of Taiwanese actors has poor acting skills, and they have been in the mainland for 20 years in the north, and their temperament is very contrary, and they have no way to act well in these mainstream dramas.
The mainland actors who compete with them are Yu Hewei, Zhang Tong, Huang Xuan, Huang Jue, Zu Feng, Wang Kai, Yang Shuo, Lei Jiayin, Xin Baiqing, Zhang Yi, Zhang Songwen, Zhang Luyi, Jin Dong and so on.
You may think that mainland actors are older, but they are actually the same generation, like Zhang Yi who is 45 years old and one year younger than Yan Chengxu. In addition, film actors such as "The Right Way to Open Life" because of successive failures in the film industry, Huang Bo, Chen Kun, Qin Hao and other film actors have come to act in TV series, and the competition for mainland actors is also very large.
Taiwanese actors can't act, have problems with accents, and have a very incompatible temperament and role, so why do people have to use you?
A few years ago it was still on the front line, but now there is no filming? How did Taiwanese actors suddenly "go out of breath"
Then idol dramas can always be kings and hegemons, but in fact, they are not. Yan Chengxu became popular this time by relying on modern romance dramas, and there is a key point here, until today, the development of "current words" in the mainland is not as good as the peak era of Taiwan puppets, Korean idol dramas and Japanese idol dramas.
Especially urban romance dramas and urban workplace dramas are the worst, and this urban sweet pet and campus romance drama are much better.
The reason may be that mainland audiences pay too much attention to realism, domineering presidents, wealthy grudges, romantic love stories in first-tier cities are always scolded for being too fake, moaning without disease, and the key is that they are filmed badly. Urban sweet pets and campus romance stripped away the realist gene, but they want young actors, or unknown eighteen-tier actors.
These forty or fifty-year-old Taiwanese actors are not very suitable, and Yan Chengxu, who relies on urban sweet pets to become popular, is also rare.
Over the years, no Taiwanese actor has become popular with costume idol dramas, and Zhao Youting of "Three Lives and Three Lives" has one, but he was young and popular at that time. Hong Kong and Taiwan entertainment capital is deeply cultivating the mainland market, Zhao Youting became popular a few years before and after, they used mainland big IP, popular big flowers and small flowers, anyway, top resources this model to hold people.
There are Ruan Jingtian in "Fu Shao" and "Yellow Skin Zi Tomb", Zhu Xiaotian in "Splendid Weiyang", Zhou Yumin in "Fire Like Song" and "Great Song Palace Words", Wang Continent in "His Royal Highness Wolf", and Yang Youning and so on. The result did not make them popular, on the contrary, the more they were held, the more they felt that they were unworthy and wasted resources.
One reason is that serious costume dramas, Taiwanese actors' acting skills, accents and temperament still can't be supported, like Zhou Yumin is already the top acting school of Taiwan's Mesozoic Dynasty, but the same Song Dynasty costume dramas, the same mainland directors, the same Song Dynasty emperor, the same TV series reputation is not good.
Zhou Yumin in "Great Song Palace Words" is not as good as Wang Kai in "Qingping Le" in terms of acting skills and gentle and elegant temperament; And Wang Kai's acting skills in the mainland middle generation actor are supernatural? The answer is not necessarily.
The same example is Taiwan's Mesozoic powerful Yang Youning, the same drama, the same ancient costume ugly, etc., but in "Shangyang Fu" is far inferior to Zhou Wei, and Monday Wai is a representative of "greasy man" in the eyes of mainland audiences, not to mention the disaster of Qiao Feng in "Dragon Babu".
This costume idol drama is simpler, and the appearance of Taiwanese actors is really not enough.
Idol dramas have always ranked first in appearance and temperament, and acting skills and strength are second. Although it is now widely complained that young actors in the mainland are not as good as before, Wang Hedi, Cheng Yi, Luo Yunxi, Gong Jun, Ren Jialun, Bai Jingting, Yang Yang, Zheng Yecheng, Wu Lei, etc. are really young and their flesh is really good.
This group of Taiwanese Mesozoic is too old, and there is also a clear gap in ancient costumes and temperament.
Taiwanese young actors, like Hong Kong, there are still young actors. Wang Continent, Chen Linong, Xu Guanghan, etc. Really don't talk about ancient costumes, to be honest, even modern costumes are not good-looking, and you have to pick the script for acting, let alone ancient puppet dramas.
Finally, Taiwanese middle-generation actors around 40 years old are very embarrassed in their positioning, and there is another kind in China that also has idol attributes, but relatively serious top investment resources, and they compete with mainland actors who are slightly younger than them (about 35 years old), and their acting skills, temperament and strength have also lost.
For example, Chen Xiao in "Menghualu", Li Xian in "Go to a Windy Place", Zhang Ruoyun in "Daming under the Microscope", Bai Yu in "The Silent Truth", and Zhu Yilong, who has successfully transformed into a movie, and so on. Actors who are younger than them are not as old and physical as they are, and mainland actors who are slightly younger than them have all lost in age, flesh and acting skills.
Once popular, but now there is no such person? Huo Jianhua, why is Peng Yuyan "cold"
The second is the internal reason, the circle of Taiwanese actors and the resources behind it are becoming more and more unworkable, and because of the real relationship, the mainland film and television industry does not dare to use them.
In fact, Taiwanese actors who have developed well in the mainland are also popular Tianting Yan (Ruan Jingtian, Zhao Youting and Peng Yuyan), then Huo Jianhua, Wu Qilong, Su Youpeng, who came to the mainland early to cultivate, and finally Peng Yuyan, who has accumulated resources, and Zhang Zhen, the first person of Taiwan's Mesozoic Generation.
After Wu Qilong and Liu Shishi got married, there were very few works, and Ruan Jingtian was the kind of person mentioned above.
Su Youpeng and Xiaoyanzi are people in a circle, and something big happened in the circle they were in and the capital behind them a few years ago. The little swallow was directly cold, and even Su Youpeng did not have many film and television resources. How many things happened after Huo Jianhua and Lin Xinru were bound, I believe there is no need to repeat.
In the end, there were only three people left who developed well in the mainland, Zhao Youting, Peng Yuyan and Zhang Zhen.
Peng Yuyan's problem is that the circle is not fixed, he is a Taiwanese actor, and the best resources in the Hong Kong and Taiwan circles have been given to him before, like Lin Chaoxian, "The First Incense". As a result, problems with acting and accent led to strength that was always poor. Mixed half with the Hong Kong and Taiwan circles and went to the Beijing circle, and none of them were handed over.
These coupled with the "epidemic" three-year geographical blockade, so Peng Yuyan also rested for about 3 years. Of course, where he has no resources, he has already filmed Andy Lau's "Sneak", which is a resource in the Hong Kong circle. It is rumored that "Operation Red Sea 2" also has him, and Lin Chaoxian is still willing to take him.
Zhao Youting's situation is similar, he cooperated with Guo Jingming's "Qingya Collection" accident, when it was removed halfway and was hit, and then another protagonist had a direct accident, and the second part is unlikely to be released.
However, Zhao Youting's resources are already sporadic Taiwanese actors with good resources in the mainland, his acting skills are quite outstanding among his peers, and his Taiwanese accent is much weaker. Although the movie resources are not good, the top TV series resources are one after another, and in my opinion, it is already one of the top three in Taiwan's Mesozoic generation.
Play a villain, full of profanity? How did Zhang Zhen fall step by step
Finally, Zhang Zhen, the first person of Taiwan's Mesozoic Generation, had many classic literary films when he was a teenager, but most of them were supporting roles, and the last absolutely starring literary film was Hou Xiaoxian's "Assassin Nie Yinniang", according to the algorithm of the domestic film and television circle, this film is still a big heroine.
Commercial genre films make Zhang Zhen the most well-known to the public, and everyone may not believe it, that is, mainland director Lu Yang's "Embroidered Spring Dao", which is also Zhang Zhen's only commercial genre film series that can be obtained.
Zhang Zhen has always had some situations where he can't go up and down. The upper is that the accumulation of literary and artistic films is not enough, and the results of commercial films are worse. But Zhang Zhen's coffee position, acting skills and other aspects are the first person in Taiwan's Mesozoic generation, and it is strange that the Hong Kong and Taiwan circles do not seem to give him much absolute starring resources for top blockbusters.
In the 3 years of the "epidemic", due to the barriers of real geography and other aspects, Zhang Zhen except for the local "Soul Hunting", because he could not receive mainland resources, relying on the accumulation of previous literary and art films to expand outward. But whether it is Hollywood or South Korea, there are their own circles, and you can't get the actor, so you can only play a supporting role.
Speaking of which, I think Zhang Zhen's external development is also quite ironic, in the mainland market "Embroidered Spring Dao" series is the absolute protagonist, at that time Lei Jiayin, Zhang Yi all matched him.
Now Wu Jing's "The Wandering Earth" series has led the rise of Chinese sci-fi blockbusters, Zhang Zhen played the villain who was killed in only three scenes in "Dune", Zhang Yi led Chinese home in "Ten Thousand Miles Home", and Zhang Zhen was shot in the head by the Korean protagonist in the Chinese full of swear words in "Suriname".
Finally, in the final analysis, Zhang Zhen's dilemma is the dilemma of Taiwanese actors now, if you can't enter the mainland market, who knows you from the audience in the Chinese-speaking region, and other Taiwanese actors are far inferior to Zhang Zhen?
There are only some literary films and TV series in Taiwan, and it is better to be a chicken head than a phoenix tail. Otherwise, a large number of "passed" Taiwanese stars would not lick their faces from various mainland variety shows, right!
