Visit Hongyuan Square (below) – read the inscription "Yao Chong Uprising"

Coming to the back of the group of eagles, I saw 1435 red characters, which solemnly introduced the history and significance of the "Yao Chong Uprising" to people. I have already read the content of the inscription "Yao Chong Uprising", and I repeat it here again, and I feel very kind.
The inscription is longer and roughly divided into two parts.
The first part details the process of the "Yao Chong Uprising": On January 24, 1930, the Yao Chong Uprising led by Ye Jiyao Chong Party organization against the Kuomintang reactionaries broke out. On the same day, more than 100 reactionary vigilante groups, Xiong Zhongchuan and Chu Haiqing, who were defeated by the Red 32nd Division, rushed to Yeji Yao Lingtou. Upon hearing the news, the Yao Chong branch decided to immediately revolt, and the uprising was divided into three stages.
In the first stage, when the Xiong and Chu militia groups were having lunch at Yaolingtou, they mobilized the masses to bring out wine and food to "entertain" the vigilante group, and at the same time deployed hundreds of peasant armed ambushes in Yaolingtou and Yaochong around Liu Xinzhuang. When the officers and men of the militia group were drunk and hot, the gunfire was loud and the sound of killing was shocking to the sky, and the officers and men of the militia group fled in a hurry.
In the second stage, the fleeing enemy was intercepted in the ambush circle (Liu Xinzhuangzi, north of Yaolingtou), and finally more than 50 enemy were captured and more than 60 guns were captured, and the enemy captain Zhang Bofu and the reactionary landlord Liu Congxiang fled to Yeji overnight.
The third stage was on January 26, when the county guerrilla brigade held a mass meeting in Liu Xinzhuangzi, arrested several wealthy landowners, divided their grain and property, and formed a guerrilla brigade of the second district.
The second part of the inscription evaluates the value and significance of the Yao Chong Uprising: it is an important development of Ye Cheng as an important part of the revolutionary base area of Hubei-Yu-Anhui, and epitomizes the party-building spirit such as adhering to the truth and undertaking the mission, and the Dabie Mountain spirit such as adhering to faith and daring to struggle. Reading this brief introduction again, I think that the "Yao Chong Uprising" is not as famous as the "Seven Great Uprisings", and the uprising process is not tortuous, but it is one of the many actions of the Chinese Communist Party "armed revolution against armed counterrevolution" and is part of the "Liuhuo Uprising". Together with the "Hongji Riot", it constitutes the red culture of Yeji. If you don't introduce it, no one knows (and in fact, very few people do). Although the smoke has cleared, the feat remains. Yeji Hongyuan Plaza opened on January 2, 2023, which is a big event and a good thing.
