In 2011, South Korea's tvN TV station introduced the original "Saturday Night Live" model from NBC in the United States, and began to produce the Korean version of SNL.
The first episode of the American version of SNL premiered in 1975, which is a funny variety show with a history of nearly 50 years and is one of the longest-lived programs in the United States. The Korean version of SNL, like the American version, in addition to the fixed host group every week, will also invite popular stars as guests to appear and broadcast it live.
But one thing is different -
When the Korean version was launched, it was an adults-only program. Similar to a midnight field.
Thanks to South Korea's rating system, the Korean version of SNL attracts audiences with 19 banned content (that is, we call "level three"), but it does not mean erotic nudity, but to do extremely "spoofing" things to stars, and the scale of the program's host and guest speech is not suitable for children - therefore, it is also known as "Korea's dirtiest variety show".
