In 2013, the new version of "Red Lantern" premiered on the Tian Toad Yifu Stage, which has been performed more than 350 times so far, and the version presented on March 28 has undergone five rehearsals. According to Ding Yebo, the "Red Lantern" of this performance was directed by the original director Wang Yu, and when he mentioned one of the most impressive things in the rehearsal process, Ding Yebo talked about it, "The old director Wang Yu is extremely serious and responsible, and his professionalism is very impressive to me." With the promotion and dissemination of red culture theme education for primary and secondary school students, "Red Lantern" has two performance versions, one of which is specifically aimed at teenagers, and the main creative team takes into account the interest and acceptance of teenagers, and deletes some cutscenes from the original two-hour performance, retaining the classic singing section and the main theme of the characters. It is reported that the Shanghai Shanghai Theater has also set up a Shanghainese training camp, which provides a special space for children aged 4-11 to learn Shanghainese and understand Shanghai opera, and the actors of the Shanghai Theater will teach.
