"Jie Zi, wear back a lot of shirts, because you live in a frozen kiss!" (Xiaojie, wear more clothes and be careful not to get cold!) Does this kind advice make you feel like you have traveled back to your childhood and felt the love of your neighbors again?
On the morning of January 16, the 2023 Wuzhou local original New Year film "Lao Liang's Herbal Tea", co-produced by Wuzhou Zero Distance website and SR Shadows, officially started filming in Weixinli, Wanxiu District, Wuzhou City.
"Lao Liang's Herbal Tea" tells the heart-warming story triggered by a cup of herbal tea after the optimization and adjustment of the epidemic prevention and control policy. The short film hopes to use Wuzhou Aber Laoliang as an incision to explore the herbal tea complex of Wuzhou people and the warmth of the current neighborhood. At the same time, in order to make Wuzhou people feel cordial, the film uses authentic Wuzhou vernacular for interpretation.
The film is being filmed.
Huang Zhiquan, the starring actor of the film and the actor of "Lao Liang", told Zero Mei that he was moved after seeing the script for the first time, and felt the casual harmony and mutual help between the neighbors in Wuzhou, and these human touches and pyrotechnics are not only experienced by every Wuzhou person from childhood to adulthood, but also pursued by every Wuzhou person from the bottom of their hearts. He is very happy to be able to participate in this New Year film.
Executive director and script creator Wu Juelin said that the inspiration for the script came from a friend who opened an herbal tea shop to make herbal tea and give it to relatives and neighbors for free during the epidemic. Inspired by this, he chose to use "herbal tea" as an introduction throughout the film, and herbal tea, as the most familiar drink for Wuzhou people from childhood to adulthood, is easy to resonate with the audience.
It is understood that the 2023 New Year short film "Lao Liang's Herbal Tea" has been successfully completed and entered the post-production stage, and is expected to be launched to meet the audience during the Spring Festival.
