Satisfied or Dissatisfied is a 1963 comedy film produced by Changchun Film Studio, directed by Yan Gong and starring Xiao Yang Tianxiao, released in June 1964.
The film is based on the burlesque play "Laughter in the Shop" by the Suzhou Burlesque Troupe, which tells the story of Yang Yousheng, a young waiter who is uneasy about his job, with the help of leaders and colleagues, who corrects his work attitude and grows into a waiter who is satisfied with customers.
Synopsis
In a restaurant called "Deyue Lou", Yang Yousheng, a young waiter, considered himself young and promising, and disdained to do this kind of "waiting for people" work. Therefore, when working, it is sloppy and so-so. Giving the customer the wrong meal, not thinking too much, but complaining that the customer is picky. Sometimes it even hurts people, and even scolds a young female customer as a "scallion oil cake face". Criticism did not make him solve problems ideologically. Unusually, he put away his cold face and squeezed out a "smiling face" that was not unusual.
