Margaret Flower Care Guide

Margaret flowers represent the expectation of love, and pink flowers are like a girl waiting for love. Similarly, the Margaret flower represents satisfaction, joy, pride, crush. There are many colors of Margaret flowers, and the favorites are "lemon", "pink Mickey", and "candy"... Although the flowers are not large, but the color is fresh, in the case of careful cultivation, a pot of margaret can bloom hundreds of small flowers at the same time, at a glance, it is a large flower ball, very spectacular, the color is also from dark to light, like a gradient, very beautiful, in line with most people's aesthetics, the fresh daisy in the hearts of young people represents, like a pure and shy girl (Figure 1-2).

1. Reasons for recommendation
In the garden, Margaret is a perennial herbaceous plant that prefers cool and humid environments, does not tolerate heat, needs shade in summer, and does not drop below 5°C in winter. From April to June every year, it is the protagonist of the garden, and the flowering period is super long, easy to reflower, and there are basically no shortcomings except for the difficulty of summer. It is also one of the flowers that are most likely to grow into soil round flower bulbs (Figure 3-4).

2. Soil and pots
1. Soil. It is recommended to choose loose, breathable and fertile soil, and the nutrient soil medium I prepare is peat soil + humus soil + perlite + coconut brick or coconut shell + green slow-release fertilizer + bottom fertilizer rotted organic sheep manure. If possible, you can also buy ready-made soil (for your reference only) (Figure 5).

2. Classification of pots. Try to choose a pot with better drainage for planting, the size of the pot can gradually increase according to the growth of the plant, when it is still a small seedling, choose a small pot diameter of about 15 cm, flower friends remember the small seedling small pot, if the plant is larger, you can choose a slightly deeper and slightly larger pot, you can choose a pot with a diameter of 20~27 cm, or even a larger diameter can be. Margaret's pots are not fixed and can be filled with soil as they grow, and my seedling pots for self-use are 5-gallon pots (Figure 6).

Third, the use of fertilizer: since the seedlings fake planting, the fertilizer has not been broken, has always been thin fertilizer diligent, each watering with thin fertilizer, the surface of the pot is dry (lightened) just water, watering must be watered, the growing period of flowers more No. 1 + potassium dihydrogen phosphate, to the bud stage of flowers more No. 2 + potassium dihydrogen phosphate, the pot to irrigate the roots, but also can be sprayed on the leaves, branches, so that its buds are fuller, the amount of flowers will naturally be larger. How much fertilizer is given per watering? I didn't follow the necessary proportions, just look at the color of the water, a slight blue like the sky, and flower friends can try it (Figure 7-8).

Fourth, light: in spring, autumn and winter, Margaret recommends full-day maintenance, in the winter to put the seedlings in a transparent plastic shedcloth, there is light, there is temperature, cover with a thick quilt at night, will not be frozen, in full sunlight will make it grow better, adjust the direction of the pot every few days, do not let it grow to one side, in order to it absorb sunlight on each side, in order to grow faster, I move it wherever there is sunlight every day, tired and happy (Figure 9-10).

Fifth, diseases and pests: Margaret occasionally has aphids, in the home has been a imidacloprid, pay attention to ventilation, can reduce pests and diseases, reproduction can be propagated in spring and autumn cuttings, the survival rate is very high, and Margaret is particularly afraid of heat, it is difficult to spend summer, so every autumn must buy toothpick seedlings, save waste of feelings, and finally black rot.
6. Margaret Flower Bulb Cultivation
Margaret's burrow seedlings are imported in mid-October every year, and when it is cold in the north, they enter early, and they can be approved to bloom in spring and April, and the following is a description of the maintenance process for flower friends (Figure 11-12).

After receiving the seedlings, put them in a cool place for a while, the express delivery time has been in the dark for a long time, suddenly see the sunshine seedlings can not stand it, and then start 10 cm small pot fake planting, all the way to the top, the top is to remove the top advantage to let the side buds germinate, so that the plant becomes rounder and fuller. After a period of time, when the plant root system grows densely, you can change the pot for a gallon. Simply put, after topping, a lot of side buds will be emitted, there are many branches, so as to achieve the purpose of bursting pots, but the point comes, when the desired crown width is reached in the later stage, you can continue to pick the buds, instead of topping, I am constantly pinching the buds in the later stage, and I have to pinch once a day, until the buds slowly become more, you can approve it to bloom, imagine that each bud is blooming vividly, and immediately there will be a large flower bulb, is it a unique sense of achievement (Figure 13).
