It is reported that the "Children's Reading Future" Shenzhen-Hong Kong Family Parent-Child Co-reading Program takes inheriting red classics and promoting patriotic spirit as the main line, and aims to build a "harmonious big family" of Shenzhen and Hong Kong parent-child families, and guides Shenzhen and Hong Kong families to create a good family reading atmosphere through pair reading, parent-child reading and study day reading for Shenzhen and Hong Kong families. The project is expected to carry out about 30 activities and serve about 2,000 people throughout the year.

It is hoped that families in Shenzhen and Hong Kong can fully communicate, become friends, learn from each other, exchange reading lists, share reading stories, and grow up together, so that families and children from Shenzhen and Hong Kong can visit the landscapes and rivers of the two places, experience folk customs and customs, cultivate the cultural identity of the same origin and close relationship between the two places, inherit the feelings of family and country, and feel the beauty and cultural inheritance of the motherland together.

In the next step, the "Children's Reading Future" project will take the traditional cultural festival as an opportunity to carry out reading activities of Chinese excellent traditional culture classics, organize Shenzhen and Hong Kong families and cross-border students to go to the home style practice base and child-friendly practice base for day study, invite children's book editors, picture book writers and picture book illustrators to form a mentor group, take "continuing the red heritage" and "Shenzhen and Hong Kong family relatives" as the creative elements and main lines, stimulate children's interest in Chinese original picture books, and organize Shenzhen and Hong Kong families to jointly create "red theme" original picture books.
