When everyone saw that the feathers of the phoenix had been dressed, they were busy dressing up with each other. Soon everyone was almost dressed up, only the old bird was not yet dressed, so it asked the phoenix to dress up for itself, because the other birds had already flown to Yaochi. Come on, drive the black old bird out of Yaochi. ”

2. The legend of the magpie
According to legend, in ancient times, magpies were the messengers of the Jade Emperor. Because of its meritorious transmission, the Jade Emperor gave it a white feather, so how did the feathers on the magpie's body now have black?
After Pangu opened up the world, there were people on the ground. In order to make people immortal, the Jade Emperor sent magpies to the South Heavenly Gate within three days to preach the will.

In the night, the magpie thought: Tomorrow is the last day, and not passing it out again is to disobey the Mandate of Heaven, and his own family will also kill his head, but it is better not to do it, not to stop, and to change the imperial will.
The idea had been decided, and at dawn on the third day, the magpie flew to the South Heavenly Gate, held the edict in his hand, and shouted loudly: "Listen to the Netherworld, the Jade Emperor's will: From today onwards, people will be stranded, snakes will be shed, and cattle will be stripped." ”
The Jade Emperor listened at the Ling Xiao Treasure Hall: "Oops, this magpie has changed his will, this has harmed mortals, saved evil, and suffered old cattle." "But it's irreparable.
The magpie returned to hand over the order, and the Jade Emperor did not wait for it to open its mouth and scolded: "Such a bold beast, how dare you change the will of heaven!" "Pick up the black stone on the case and smash it, not biased or oblique, just smashing on the magpie's back, and the snow-white feathers are blackened by ink." Fortunately, there was little ink in the Yan pool, only one piece of blackening, and the magpie knew that he had committed a terrible sin and begged for forgiveness.
The Jade Emperor said, "Beast, you should have been put on death row, and I remembered that you had merit a few days ago, so as not to save you from death." You are now punished to go to the human world to make up for your deeds, just for the sake of people to report good news, not to report worries, and to remember them. ”
Since then, magpies have flown to the human world and specially announced good news.
