On his first expedition at the age of 17, he led eight hundred horsemen to go deep into the enemy territory for hundreds of miles, killing the Xiongnu soldiers and fleeing in all directions. In the two battles of Hexi, Huo went ill to break the Xiongnu, captured the Xiongnu's most precious treasure, "Sacrifice Heavenly Jinren", and directly took the Qilian Mountains. In the Battle of Mobei, Huo went ill to seal the wolf juxu and returned home with a great victory. In this regard, he became a generation of war gods of the Han Dynasty and reached the peak of his life.
However, in 117 BC, Huo Fu died of illness at the age of 24. After his death, Emperor Wu of Han was very sad and ordered that Huo's tomb be built in the form of Qilian Mountain, showing his miraculous feats of defeating the Xiongnu. So, Huo went to the sick and died at the age of 24, did he have any heirs? According to historical records, although he died young, he really had a son named Huo Huan. Huo Huan was born in 110 BC, and was only 3 years old when Huo died of illness. After Huo's death, he took the title of Marquis of Champion, and Emperor Wu of Han was very fond of Huo's son and intended to train him to become a great general and inherit Huo's exploits.
However, in 120 BC, Huo Huan died soon after emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty ascended Mount Tai. Huo Huan was only ten years old at the time of his death and had no heirs, so Huo died of illness. Later, Huo Guang's brother Huo Guang wrote to Emperor Wu of Han that his grandsons Huo Shan and Huo Yun would be passed on to Huo to be his grandsons, and Emperor Wu of Han approved it, thus continuing the line of Huo's illness. However, in July 66 BC, he was convicted and killed for conspiring against huo Yu of the same clan. At this point, Huo's disease has no descendants at all.
