Recently, the "Daya Zhitang" begonia exhibition was launched in the Hundred Flowers Hall of Xiamen Garden and Botanical Garden, which is one of the activities of the third academic annual meeting of the Begonia Professional Committee of the China Wild Plant Protection Association. A total of 81 physical, video and photo exhibits of begonia from 17 units (individuals) were collected in this activity, and 16 awards were awarded by experts from the original cultivation group, endangered protection group and variety cultivation group.
Xie Kai, Chairman of the Jury of the Exhibition and Executive Director of the Begonia Professional Committee of the China Wild Plant Protection Association, commented on the exhibits that won the gold award.

The cultivation of this exhibit fills the gap of Chinese cultivating new varieties with native species of overseas begonias.

Xiamen Garden Botanical Garden's "Elegant Begonia Remains" work won the Gold Award for Applied Creativity.
