As an exhibition of the 4th Beijing Tianqiao Musical Theatre Season, the original musical "Flowers and Blossoms" by the China Coal Mine Cultural and Labor Troupe will be staged at the Tianqiao Theater from October 11 to 13, which is the second round of performances after the premiere in 2020 and the first round of performances after the play won the support of the National Arts Fund.
As a musical drama with a realistic theme, "Flowers And Flowers" is based on a real story that has been hotly discussed in the news media, telling the moving story and the spirit of great love of migrant workers in the new era of selflessly raising abandoned babies.

The play is directed by the famous director Lu Ang, screenwriters Yin Shushuang and Lu Ang, composer Wu Shaoxiong as the composer, young musician Hao Song as the arranger, stage designer Meng Qin as the visual and stage design, and famous sound engineer and recording engineer Ma Xin as the sound design. The drama also brings together many outstanding creative designers and singing actors of the China Coal Mine Cultural and Labor Troupe, young singers Li Na, Zhang Yan and Sun Haiying play the heroine Chen Yunxiu, Zuo Wei and Kong Jianzhong play the migrant worker Liu Zhiqiang, and Sun Rong and Zhang Yutong play the kitchen lady Wang Guilan. According to Liu Zhongjun, combined with the expert opinions and audience feedback of the previous round of performances, this round of performances has made a lot of changes in the orchestration and choreography of music, "This is the first large-scale original musical of the China Coal Mine Cultural and Labor Troupe, so the stage of the last round of performances is relatively simple, and this time we have done a new stage design."
