However, at this time, the Great Depression was coming, and Wood's financial pressures were increasing, from being tolerant of her to gradually losing patience and having to postpone Sahefen's exhibition in Paris. But Sahefen is like a wayward child, regardless of it, he still makes all kinds of preparations for the exhibition, and even makes a wedding dress for himself. When Mr. Wood told her that the exhibition could not be held as scheduled, she angrily and forcefully told Wood that the exhibition must not be canceled, and that she had informed the angel that they were all already on their way. Mr. Wood stressed that the exhibition would be postponed indefinitely, and like a panicked child, she threw down the phone and said to herself in infinite sadness: My paintings disappeared into the darkness...
Overnight, she became famous; overnight, she collapsed.
