Film studio Liongate today announced a new cast for Borderlands films, most notably Gina Gershon, who has starred in the films "The Beatles" and "The Amazing Flowers," and Cheyenne Jackson of the TV series Glee.

In addition to these two, there are Charles Babalola, Benjamin Byron Davis, Steven Boyer and others. Korean-American comedian Bobby Lee will play a new role, Larry.

In addition to announcing a new cast list, Liongate also announced the roles they will play. Gina Gerson will be transformed into Mossi, the bar hostess who is one of the most popular cosplay characters for Borderlands players. Cheyenne Jackson will play Jakobs, who will marry Mr. Iron Arm, played by Charles Barbarola.

Steven Boyer will play car dealership owner Scooter. Ben Davis will play arms dealer Marcus, and Bobby Lee's new character, Larry, is Roland's former military colleague.

Preparations for Borderlands began in 2015 and it was announced last year that Eli Roth would direct the film, and the planning process has continued steadily ever since. No release date for the film has been announced.
