Qatar World Cup
Many years ago, when we came here once, no one had even heard of this remarkable little country. Today, cruise ships embrace the coastline and tourists from all over the world flock to it. This is Qatar, the site of the 2022 World Cup.
Doha, Qatar
Football vs Qatar with the US dollar
The 2022 Qatar World Cup is about to begin, and huge expenses are the highlight of this World Cup, with a total investment of 220 billion US dollars. What exactly is the concept of $220 billion, I believe you will be clear by comparison.
World Cup in South Africa $3.06 billion
The World Cup in Russia was $11.6 billion
Brazil World Cup $15 billion
Qatar World Cup $220 billion
These are a bunch of numbers for oil-rich Qatari tycoons. So let's see how the money is spent.
stadium
AIT Stadium As stated by the Qatar 2022 organization, the shape of the stadium is very, very similar to the traditional hats worn by boys and men in the Arab world, only opening from above. It is also a symbol of dignity and independence.
The name of the Education City stadium already makes it clear about its situation and even its function after the Qatar 2022 World Cup: this new venue will be the axis of Rajan's university life.
After the tournament, a business district, a conference center, a medical institution or type of personal welfare and two schools will be added to the venue.
Al J Stadium benefits from the Qatar 2022 World Cup, a football stadium that is both modern and striking, inspired by the city's seafaring traditions.
In addition, next to the Jor Stadium, where the final will be held, it has a retractable roof, one of the most expensive elements of these projects.
The Ahmed Ben Ali Stadium, in honor of Qatar's first emir, was built in the form of a very elegant tent at the gate of the desert to welcome the fans of the Rajan World Cup.
After the 2022 World Cup, it will be the home of Al Rayyan Sports Club.
Stadium 974 Qatar 2022 will be the first World Cup to have a movable field, Stadium 974, named for the number of containers used in its construction.
In terms of shape, the most prominent is the visibility of the container that fulfills various functions inside and outside the housing. They are like containers that are usually loaded in ports.
Lusar Stadium, the largest venue in Qatar for the 2022 World Cup and considered the crown jewel by the emirate, is the venue that dazzled Planet Football in the final on December 18.
There will actually be more seats than other venues in this World Cup and will host the most matches – 10 – including the final.
Tourism culture
Immerse yourself in traditional Qatar as you learn about the ancient pursuit of falcons, watch camels cross the desert, and watch traditional dhows (wooden cargo ships) swing on the water. But the country is rapidly developing, and the capital, Doha, is becoming a world-class city, thanks to its spectacular modern skyline, unparalleled museum of Islamic art, exquisite and expansive traditional bazaars, and a thriving arts and culinary scene. On any given day, you can sample a range of fine restaurants before watching the sunset over the dunes that seem to come out of a fairy tale.
The Falcon Pursuit
The Falcon Bazaar is a highlight, but the Falcon isn't the only traditional Qatari leisure pursuit you'll see in the market

Touring Qatar: Tips and tricks to make your trip cheaper
The oil-rich Gulf states are not safe havens for small-budget travel. Although small, it is the richest country in the world per capita.
So is Qatar travel cheap? While the lack of hotels and notoriously expensive drinks can quickly add to travel costs, you'll find plenty of ways to extend your rial even further. Public transport in Qatar is very cheap and affordable food abounds.
Watch out for peak periods in Qatar and avoid them
During Qatar's busy and cooler months (November to February), during the two Eid holidays, and weekends (which in Qatar means Friday and Saturday), accommodation and regional flight prices tend to rise.
Explore outside Doha by public bus
Attractions outside of the Doha Metro, such as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are cheaper to take public Karwa buses than organised tours, but can be slow due to reduced speed limits for buses on major highways. Since there are few opportunities to buy food and drinks at remote spots, it's worth buying snacks at the grocery store before you go.
Drink tap water and save plastic and money
Qatar's obsession with single-use plastic bottles has come at a high cost to the environment, with some restaurants costing as much as QAR25 per bottle of water. However, tap water in Qatar is produced through desalination and groundwater, which meets World Health Organization standards. And it doesn't taste good. Pack a reusable beverage bottle and fill your hotel room to save some extra riyals.
Enjoy Qatar's rich and cheap cuisine
Don't let expensive hotel restaurant menus scare you into a two-minute noodle field. The streets of Doha offer a wide variety of cuisines at affordable prices, from authentic South Indian talis to Korean fried chicken. The vastness is a convenient place to taste.
