King Frederick I of Sweden adopted a lion, which is a rare species in the area, and he liked it very much.

After the lion's death in 1731, the king sent someone to find a taxidermist to make a specimen out of fur and bone. This can make the taxidermist sad, I have never seen a lion when I am so big, and there is no one to guide him, so I have to bite the bullet and rely on my rich imagination to do it, although it does not look very majestic in the end, but it is finally completed and well preserved.

It can still be seen in Sweden's famous castle, the Gripsholm Castle Museum.
