In the 1990s, Ohio native Sarah Jessica Parker rose to fame for her role as writer Carrie Bradshaw in #Sex and the City.
In real life, Parker had a brief date with John F. Kennedy Jr. in the early 1990s, in 1991, and after filming the movie "Love Is So Wonderful", Sarah left her boyfriend Downey and also left Los Angeles and returned to New York to continue performing on Broadway.
Unexpectedly, John F. Kennedy Jr. was fascinated by her because of watching the show, and he went backstage to invite her out, but they only dated for a few months because the gossip tabloid filming made Sarah overwhelmed.
They later lived in the landmark Collect Pond House, a 12-story Tribeca Academy of Fine Arts building dating back to 1909.
Now, that former home, later combined with a second unit beneath it, is being sold as a luxury duplex penthouse #mansion# for $5.5 million, down from $5.85 million in July.
Fast forward to today, Parker and her husband, Matthew Broderick, own a two-storey mansion in the West Village, a former Tribeca home at 366 Broadway that isn't too shabby.
It is topped by a landscaped roof terrace of over 1,000 square feet with an outdoor kitchen, entertainment space, and panoramic views of the city – from the Woolworth Building to the Empire State Building. The four-bedroom, four-bathroom space was decorated by Cheryl Eisen's Interior Marketing Group and structured by architect Stephen Wanta.
