Terence Ross scored 12 of 14 points in the fourth quarter, giving Orlando its second straight win of the season for the first time.

Franz Wagner scored 17 points, Jaylen Suggs scored 16 and Pol Bohr had a career-high 15 rebounds.

Cameron Payne scored 22 points for the Suns, who went their second straight game without injured guard Chris Paul. Devin Booker scored 17 points on 6-of-19 shooting.

Phoenix shot 40 percent from the field and made just 13 of his 42 three-pointers.

Playing again without high-scoring rookie Paul Banchero, the Magic led by as many as 21 points in the second half.

Ross was 5-of-4 in the fourth quarter. He said the Magic's strategy of passing the ball to Carter and Wagner is starting to pay off.

"It puts a lot of pressure on the team," Rose said. "We tried to put the ball in the paint and break everyone down and I think it keeps beating the team. This style of play is difficult to defend.

The Suns hit just four of their first 19 three-pointers and trailed by 11 points, with Booker and Payne pulling them back late in the first half. But they never took the lead in the second half.

Chuma O'Keeki, Caleb Hustein and Muhammad Bamba hit three-pointers in 71 seconds late in the third quarter to extend Orlando's lead to 14.

Suns: Paul is out with a sore right heel. ... Landry Shamet did not play. He is undergoing concussion protocols.

Magic: Banchero missed his second straight game with a sprained ankle. The Magic have shot 53.1 percent from the field in the last five games. Orlando's last two-game winning streak was against Oklahoma City and Golden State on March 20 and 22. The Magic didn't have three straight wins last season.
