Amid rumors surrounding the eight-time All-Star trade, the Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly made a final decision on Anthony Davis' future.
According to a Nov. 10 report, the Lakers are not considering trading Davis, "while this has become a topic on social media, according to sources, the Lakers are not considering trading Davis," according to sources.
Davis signed a five-year, $190 million contract with the Lakers in December 2020. The transaction includes an early termination option in 2024 and will be fully terminated in 2025. This season, he averaged 23.0 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 54.1 percent from the field, 26.7 percent from outside the arc and 76.9 percent from the free throw line.
The Lakers are 2-10 and are the worst offensively ranked team in the NBA. Their two victories came against the Denver Nuggets and the New Orleans Pelicans.
