According to zoo staff, the white-nosed long-tailed monkey baby landed on June 21 and is a "boy". Because the mother monkey is the first time to give birth, the child-rearing experience is insufficient, the baby monkey is abandoned shortly after birth, and the zoo staff has no choice but to take the baby monkey out of the delivery room and artificially feed the baby monkey under the condition of obtaining the immunity of the female monkey's colostrum. At present, the baby monkeys have been carefully fed by the staff for more than two months and are healthy and cute. The weight has grown from more than 300 grams at birth to 500 grams at present. Because they were raised by workers, the little ones were kind and amiable, and they had great trust in the staff and had long regarded the staff as their "mother". Every day when it is cleaned or fed, it is like an innocent and lively child excitedly climbing onto the staff. The staff named it "Pippi". It is understood that in addition to a clean and comfortable environment, good sleep quality ensures the health of the monkeys. The animal professional monitoring warehouse is its lounge, which provides it with a quiet and comfortable sleeping environment, and equips it with cloth monkey dolls to give it a sense of security. The little guy is very fond of the cloth monkey doll, and always sleeps comfortably with the cloth monkey doll when resting. At present, the baby monkey is still nursing, and the zoo staff feeds it milk 5 times a day. As the monkeys grow up healthy and become more active, the amount of milk fed per feeding is increased from the original 15 ml to 18 ml. After more than a month, the monkeys will be fed some apples, bananas, boiled eggs and other complementary foods to supplement the nutritional balance.

The white-nosed long-tailed monkey is found in Cameroon, Central Africa, Congo and Côte d'Ivoire. Feeds on fruits, seeds and leaves, but also eats insects and crops. Sexually mature at about 4 years old, the pregnancy period is about 170 days, and the mother monkey feeds her offspring for about 6 months. The white-nosed long-tailed monkey is a kind of primate that combines a variety of magical things, with a graceful, lively and active body, with a long tail, and the most peculiar thing is that it has a rare white nose, hence the name "white-nosed long-tailed monkey". What is even more amazing is that they encounter different predators and make different sounds, when they encounter leopards, they will make a "fluttering" sound alarm, and when there is an eagle in the sky, they will call the police with a coughing "Hix" sound.
