Jiyuan Ecological Science Popularization Hall is an important part of the Taihang Mountain National Nature Reserve Project, a pilot project for the ecological protection and restoration of landscapes, Lintian Lake Grasses in The South Taihang Area of Henan Province, and an important part of the publicity and education project of the Taihang Mountain National Nature Reserve. The ecological science popularization hall has a total area of 2700 square meters, which is reinforced and transformed by the 20th century "third-line" military enterprise 531 waste factory building.

The museum consists of two parts: the main exhibition hall and the secondary exhibition hall. The main exhibition hall is composed of seven parts: green Jiyuan, ecological Jiyuan, green quilt Jiyuan, Lingdong Jiyuan, biodiversity, guardian of the homeland, and looking forward to the future, with a global electronic sand table set up in Jiyuan, building ecological scenes such as forests and wetlands, reproducing the living environment of wild animals such as golden leopards and macaques, equipped with plants, fungi, ancient trees, primates and other query systems, and uniformly displaying more than 1,000 plant specimens and animal specimens such as leopards, insects, and birds made by forest farm staff, including white-nosed long-tailed monkeys. Eight specimens of primates, such as bee monkeys, squirrel monkeys and ring-tailed lemurs, are particularly striking.

The sub-exhibition hall includes science popularization classrooms, collection herbariums, specimen production rooms, science popularization libraries, science popularization gas stations, etc., which comprehensively explain forestry construction, ecological restoration and wildlife knowledge, and show people a beautiful source of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
