"We chose the name Humolethalis sergius," said Lessard, "and the word sounds like deadly humor, derived from the Latin word humorasus, meaning wet or wet, and lethalis means death." Considering the film's presentation of Deadpool in Deadpool, this seems very appropriate.

Outside of the Marvel Universe, CSIRO has also named 151 new insect species, 8 new plant species, 2 new fish species, 1 new mite and 3 new bird subspecies, all of which were discovered in the past year.
According to Lessard, it's important to identify and name as many species as possible to better understand their place in the world we live in.
