Four Greek films including "She at Work" will be screened in Beijing on the 29th

Beijing, October 28 (Zhongxin.com) The reporter learned from the "Capital Star Art Cinema Alliance" that the China Film Museum International Film Exhibition - Greek Film Festival will open on October 29, and in a period of nine days, it will present the audience with four Greek film masterpieces "Little Adult", "She at Work", "Guest in the Room" and "Green Sea".

"Little Adult" is a 2016 co-production between the United States, Greece and Brazil, about Jack, an introverted and sensitive middle school student, who meets Tony, a sunny and cheerful Latino boy, at his grandfather's funeral. Tony and his mother live in a streetfront shop rented out by Jack's grandfather and make a living selling clothing. After the death of Jack's grandfather, the property was inherited by Jack's parents and aunt, who prepared to raise the rent for Tony and her son against his father's wishes. Unable to afford the rent increase, Tony and her son had to move out, and Jack was devastated by the loss of his only good friend.

Nikos Lambert's 2018 film She at Work examines and thinks about the social attributes of women. Full-time wife Panayotta lives peacefully in a well-conditioned neighborhood in Athens. At first, they worked odd jobs in small towns, trying to get their lives back on track and return to Greece as soon as possible. In the trivial process, Alice gradually realizes that returning home is just an empty hope, and she and her husband gradually distance themselves.

Angeliki Antonio's 2020 film "Green Sea" tells the story of Anna, who is approaching middle age, has lost her memory, and only the craft of cooking remains in her mind. At a cheap seaside tavern, she got a job as a chef. Anna cooks food that is exquisite and delicious, and everyone in the tavern has an emotional bond with her. However, a novel called "Green Sea" allows tavern owner Lula to discover the true identity of the female chef.
