Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav finally found his "Kevin Feige":

Director James Gunn and producer Peter Safran will serve as co-president and co-CEO. In the future, they will be jointly responsible for the content operations of DC movies, series and animations.

Gunn was briefly fired from Disney for a few weeks a few years ago, and if it weren't for that, DC wouldn't have been in contact with him, and there wouldn't have been Task Force X or The Parallelists after that.

Alan Horn, the executive who fired Gunn, left Disney last year with Bob Iger, and was invited by Zaslav to return to Warner as a consultant earlier this year.
