The 16th Women's Congress of Zhujing Town was successfully held

On October 21, the 16th Women's Congress of Zhujing Town was successfully held. Xia Hongmei, secretary of the town party committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech; Ding Yehong, vice chairman of the district women's federation, sent a message of hope on behalf of the district women's federation; Xu Lei, member of the town party committee, put forward requirements for the newly elected executive committee of the women's federation; and Wu Feng, a candidate for deputy town mayor, made a work report entitled "It is time for the construction of the town's meritorious service, cohesion and blooming, and uniting and mobilizing the broad masses of women to strive hard to start the high-quality economic and social development of Zhujing." The meeting elected a new president, vice chairman and executive committee member of the women's federation.

Xia Hongmei, secretary of the town party committee, Ding Yehong, vice chairman of the district women's federation, Jin Huiyi, deputy secretary of the town party committee, and other members of the town's party and government leading group attended the opening ceremony. The congress officially opened with the majestic sound of the National Anthem.

On behalf of the party committee, people's congress, and government of Zhujing Town, Xia Hongmei extended her warmest congratulations on the opening of the congress and extended cordial greetings and lofty respects to the women comrades who were struggling on all fronts in the town. She emphasized:

First, it is necessary to have a clear understanding of the situation, raise awareness, and give full play to the powerful leading role of women's organizations at all levels.

Third, it is necessary to create conditions, optimize services, and give full play to the role of grass-roots party organizations in the leadership of women's work.

She hoped that women's organizations at all levels and the broad masses of women would seize the opportunity, bear in mind the overall situation, further stimulate the aspirations of the women, unite the strength of the women, highlight the beauty of the women, continue to contribute wisdom and release strength in the development and construction of Zhujing's "14th Five-Year Plan", and create more proud achievements and write a more brilliant chapter in more fields, at a higher level, and at a deeper level.

On behalf of the District Women's Federation, Ding Yehong put forward three hopes:

First, I hope that the sisters of Zhujing Town will firmly establish the concept of loving the party, loving the country, loving the family, and making meritorious achievements, and show the style of women in the development of Jinshan.

Second, it is hoped that the Women's Federation of Zhujing Town will firmly give play to its advantages and reflect the goal of its deeds, and highlight the responsibility of the Women's Federation in the performance of its duties.

Third, it is hoped that the party committee of Zhujing Town will adhere to the orientation of coordinating resources and exerting force in the same direction, and lead the cause of women to continuously climb new heights.

On behalf of the town party committee, Xu Lei put forward three requirements:

First, hold high the banner, be pragmatic and forge ahead, and constantly build a strong women's federation organization under the new situation.

Second, keep in mind the mission, strengthen confidence, and let the cadres of the Women's Federation become an irreplaceable force for serving the women masses.

Third, keep pace with the times, seek common development, and call on women to contribute their strength and make contributions in innovation and entrepreneurship.

Wu Feng made a work report to the General Assembly. With the support of the delegates, the Conference successfully completed the agenda of the first plenary meeting and elected 35 members of the 16th Executive Committee of Zhujing Town by secret ballot.

The new Women's Federation held the first meeting of the Executive Committee to elect the chairman and vice chairman of the new Women's Federation. Guo Huiqing was elected chairman of the Zhujing Town Women's Federation, and Gan Qinhuan, He Hongxia, Gao Kaihui, and Chu Liping were elected vice chairmen of the Zhujing Town Women's Federation
