Snooker's latest world ranking (after the Northern Ireland Open) Zhou Yuelong is 21st and Lu Haotian is 38th

The 2022 Snooker Northern Ireland Open ended with Mark Allen defeating Zhou Yuelong to win the title. Allen won £80,000 and rose to 9th place in the world rankings. Zhou Yuelong, who won the runner-up, rose two places in the world ranking to 21st, and Lu Haotian reached the quarterfinals and rose to 38th.

The Chinese legion performed reasonably well in the Northern Ireland competition, with 13 people advancing to the main event, 8 advancing to the round of 32, and 5 advancing to the round of 16. Lu Haotian and Zhou Yuelong reached the quarterfinals, and after Zhou Yuelong advanced to the final four, he reached the final final. The top 16 players in the world rankings have not changed much in position. O'Sullivan is still in first place, Neil Robertson rises to second, Jr. third, Selby fourth, Higgins fifth, Ma Wei to sixth, and Kyren Wilson seventh. Ryan Day remains sixteenth.

The top 16 players in the world ranking will directly receive tickets to the round of 32 in the first round of the British Championship.
