Jake Gyllenhaal starring in the super-British theme of the new film "Prophet" has set the screenplay: Kurt Jornstad ("Spartan 300", "Extremely Cold City"), the first version of the script was written by Mark Guggenheim ("Arrow", "Legends of Tomorrow").

The film is directed by Sam Hargrave ("Shocking Rescue") and produced by Studio 8. Based on the comic book of the same name by Rob Leifeld (Deadpool), it focuses on John Prophet, who was drafted into the army by the Germans at the end of World War II, subjected to scientific experiments, and given superhuman powers.

The plot tells the story of John volunteering to participate in the German experiment at the end of World War II in order to support his family, an explosion buried him alive and trapped him underground for 20 years, he wakes up in 1965 with a grim future: the world moves on without him, his daughter hates him, and KGB agents hunt him down and want to build super soldiers out of his blood.
