On September 30th, the groundbreaking ceremony of Dongjiang Fengyuan Agricultural Tourism Complex was held in Qiaotou Lotus Cultural Tourism Industrial Park. At the opening ceremony, Lu Lin, deputy secretary of the Qiaotou Town Party Committee, said that the Dongjiang Fengyuan Project is an important part of the high-quality development of the Lotus Cultural Tourism Industrial Park, and hopes that the relevant responsible departments and enterprises will strictly control the safety and quality of the project, build high standards, complete it with high quality, strive for the early completion of the project, put into production early, achieve early results, and make every effort to build a "Greater Bay Area Eco-tourism Highland"; At the same time, it is necessary to make good plans and create a new benchmark for the development of agricultural tourism; It is necessary to enrich the supply of products and help the local economic development.
It is understood that the Dongjiang Fengyuan Agricultural Tourism Complex Project covers an area of about 600 acres, is a collection of tourist reception, water safety education, farming culture expo, agricultural and soilless cultivation research base, photography base, characteristic camping in one of the ecological agricultural tourism comprehensive project, is planned to be created in accordance with the national AAAA-level tourist attractions and provincial agricultural demonstration base standards.
The project was invested by Dongguan Dongjiang Fengyuan Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. to be implemented in two phases with an investment of about 80 million yuan. The first phase of the proposed construction of aquaponics symbiosis base, soilless cultivation demonstration base, safflower jacaranda landscape avenue, redbud landscape avenue, non-powered park, straw kingdom, pet park and AAA tourist toilet is expected to be completed in December 2022, and the external trial operation will be carried out before the Spring Festival in 2023; The second phase of the proposed water safety education hall, the main entrance comprehensive service area (including the visitor service center), the agricultural culture expo hall, and the ecological camping are planned to start construction by February 2023, and the water safety education hall will be launched on May 1, 2023.
After the completion of the project, it will form a new model of "agriculture-tourism-production" closed-loop development, become a Qiaotou characteristic agricultural industrial park, a rural revitalization demonstration area, and an agricultural culture research and study experience base, greatly improve the overall business tourism environment quality of Qiaotou Town, and directly create a high-standard, high-specification, high-quality suburban leisure micro-resort center for Qiaotou Town and even Dongguan citizens and tourists within three years, further enhance the happiness index of citizens, and provide strong project support for the development of Qiaotou Town's global tourism and tourism brand image.
According to Mo Canliang, chairman of Dongjiang Fengyuan, the reason why the project chose to be in Qiaotou is because the bridgehead relies on the Lotus Cultural Tourism Industrial Park and has unique tourism resources, transportation and location advantages, and they are full of confidence in the development of the bridgehead.
In recent years, Qiaotou Town has actively integrated into the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, adhered to the "quality, beauty and livability" as the center, deeply promoted the construction of "one river, one road and four parks", and promoted the high-quality development of economic and social development. Among them, the Lotus Cultural Tourism Industrial Park is the main battlefield for the development of high-end cultural tourism and global tourism.
