After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Lin Gengbai felt even more that his life would soon be over.
On the eve of the outbreak of the Pacific War, Lin Gengbai and his wife took refuge in Chongqing. After arriving in Chongqing, he saw that the Japanese Kou were constantly bombing with bombers, and he expected that Chongqing would be in the middle of war for a long time.
At this time, Lin Gengbai once again calculated his fate, and the result of the fortune telling was similar to before: he would soon die. Lin Gengbai was not willing, every time the Japanese bombed, he had to recalculate his eight characters, hoping to find a way to crack it.
Seeing that he could not find a solution, he was determined to ask for help, and after that, he went to Chongqing to find a famous photographer. This famous artist is called Tao Banmei, known as "Tao Ban Xian". Half Immortal took a closer look at his face and analyzed:

Just a week after Lin Gengbai arrived in Hong Kong, the Pacific War broke out and Japan subsequently invaded and occupied Hong Kong. Lin Gengbai, who had always advocated resisting Japan, was extremely frightened; it should be known that at that time, the Japanese army was wantonly searching for people related to the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, and he Lin Gengbai was a legislator of the National Government.
A panicked Lin Gengbai decided to smuggle back to the mainland, and he and a few friends hired a fishing boat to prepare to sneak away at night. However, because the Japanese army guarded too strictly, their plan was shelved, and the helpless Lin Gengbai had to live in Hong Kong first.
On December 19 of that year, Lin Gengbai and his wife and children took simple luggage to a friend's house to take shelter. Because he was afraid of being recognized by the Japanese army, he also deliberately dressed himself up as a local.

Their hurried steps aroused the suspicion of the Japanese, and a Japanese gendarme caught up with him and looked him up and down. When the gendarmes saw that Lin Geng was not proud of his appearance and dressed very rustically, he did not associate him with "Lin Committee" at all.
After questioning them for a few words, the Japanese gendarmes thought they had recognized the wrong person, so they waved him over. However, at this time, Lin Gengbai immediately remembered the fate number of "one auspicious and one fierce" he had calculated after taking a look at his wife who was holding the child not far away, and his whole person was stunned.
Lin Beili saw that the Japanese gendarmes had let them go, but her husband was stunned and rushed over to help her husband go together. Lin Gengbai walked forward with the support of his wife.

At the moment of falling, Lin Gengbai narrowed his eyes in horror, and the "death to death" and "will meet the blood" that he had calculated had finally been fulfilled. Later generations believe that rather than saying that Lin Gengbai died of death, it is better to say that 'he counted himself to death'. Indeed, if he had not calculated that he "would soon have died", how could he have gone into hiding in Hong Kong, and why would he have been killed for excessive nervousness during interrogation?
In this shooting incident, Lin Beili also ate a bullet at the moment of holding her husband, and the couple both fell in a pool of blood. Lin Gengbai died on the way to the hospital, and Lin Beili has been depressed since then because of the stimulation too much.
