The Gilab Pipe Ranger completes the larch cones collection mission

Since September, the Gileb Management Ranger of the De'erpur Forestry Bureau has carried out the collection of larch cones.

This field has set up a leading group for collection work, formulated the "2018 Forest Seed Harvesting Plan", required employees to implement the access system into the mountains, uniformly use the seed collection tools equipped by the Forestry Bureau, and strictly prohibit violations of laws and regulations such as destroying trees, cutting trees, beating branches, and destroying mother trees. Before harvesting, they held training courses, put forward specific requirements for collection methods and processes, and technicians demonstrated and guided the collection staff on the spot, so that the employees could grasp the key points and safety matters of harvesting, and standardize the production and management of forest seeds.

In order to strictly control the quality and prevent shoddy and mixed into wet balls, the forest farm has made a purchase container, approved the weight of excellent dried cones, converted the purchase according to the volume, and required that the proportion of green fruits, old fruits and rotten fruits should not exceed 1%, the quality clarity of the seeds in the warehouse should not be less than 90%, the germination rate should not be less than 30%, and the water content of the seeds should not be higher than 10%, so as to ensure that the quality of the harvested seeds is excellent. At present, 59 employees have collected more than 5,000 catties of larch cones, and the forest farm has purchased them at a price of 7 yuan per kilogram, and the task of collecting and purchasing forest seeds has been completed.
