The United Nations West Africa Office Building Project, located in diamniao, 35 kilometers east of dakar, senegal, is the highest-grade and largest housing construction project in West Africa. The project covers an area of 13 hectares and consists of 7 buildings of different heights that are connected in the shape of a windmill. The project began in April 2019 and is expected to be commissioned and delivered by the end of June 2022, when 7,000 employees from dozens of UN agencies and organizations in Senegal will be centrally located.
