After confirming on the spot by the breeding experts of the county water bureau, the villagers found the giant salamander, a national second-level protected animal, which was named because its nighttime cry was like a baby crying. After measurement, the "baby fish" found this time has a tan all over the body, a total length of 31 cm, weighs about 1 pound, has no trauma on the body surface, has a normal posture, and meets the conditions for release. Subsequently, the Huangyang Town Water Station and Forestry Station, together with the aquatic experts of the County Water Bureau, transported the "baby fish" to the uninhabited activity area of the mountain stream deep in the wide water primitive forest, which is in line with the waters suitable for the growth of wild baby fish and let it return to nature.
It is reported that the "baby fish" is very demanding on the living environment, likes to live in a turbulent, clean and cool environment, and is often used by environmental experts as a direct criterion for judging whether the water ecological environment is excellent or not.
In recent years, in order to ensure the safety of fish resources and the ecological environment of natural waters in the Qingxi River Basin, Huangyang Town has continued to strengthen the comprehensive ban on fishing and fishing in the Qingxi River Basin and other natural waters.
